I found this on the homeschool lounge that someone had written..all I have to say is....amen sista!!!! What we have to remember it all stems from what's going on within the home..what the parent's beliefs are and so forth. I do not rag on the Public School system, I am not here to have my kids be 'super achievers', or to frown on moms who choose alternative routes in schooling. (Just recently there was a mom who belonged to a h/school group that totally made her feel uncomfortable for unschooling. Come On! Let's give each other support no matter what! We are all here for the same reason..) There are all different degrees of homeschooling / different styles/different religious beliefs/different social activities and so forth..once again--the art of diversity! (LOL)...
